Both YahooMaps and Google Maps have good directions. The entranceway to the park is directly across from the Blue Angels Jet on display.
Please come and celebrate with us! Ritual will be at 11:00 a.m. with a potluck brunch following. Bring simple breakfast foods/drinks to share, such as donuts, coffee cake, fruit, orange juice, etc. Bring a chair or a blanket to sit on too.
The whole family is welcome, so bring the kids and friends too, but only pets on leashes are allowed in the park.

Jacksonville Pagan Pride Day 2008 was a success! We will be updating the event scrapbook over the next couple of weeks, as people send in their photos, comments and memories of the event. But first, a few quick words from Zee, sent 9/20/2008 7:11 PM:
"Before I log off and hibernate from the world for a day or two, I wanted to send a BIG thank you to everyone at PPD!!
To the Board, who planned everything and executed it today, and the vendors who came and set up even with the threat of rain, and the workshop presenters, to the volunteers that worked tirelessly ALL day to set up, help out, and clean up. But also to EVERYONE that came to the event today!
The energy was SO good! It was nice to be back in the park and to see the familiar faces of our Pagan community as well as LOTS of new ones!!
We don't have official numbers yet, but attendance was about 250 and we collected close to 400 pounds of food!. That is WONDERFUL and SO helpful to the Arlington Community Center.
There are a lot of details that we will be announcing later in our wrap up press release next week, but I wanted to get one BIG thank you to EVERYONE!
As tired as I am, I cannot wait to do it again!!!

The PPD planning committee is still collecting recipes for a fundraising cookbook. They will be organized by sabbat, with an extra category for "Pagan Potluck". Please send recipes to paganrecipes@mail.com; please include contact information, and tell us which category(ies) you think they belong in and why.
